I love eccentricities that are grounded in humor.

Chance Encounters
Today has been somewhat a nice day for me. Upon going to school, I decided to commute via the longer route- meaning, I had to tackle the polluted city with its rummage of public vehicles. It was all because the jeepney played upbeat songs (which I missed hearing for the past few months). Then we didn't have structurals class for three weeks in a row. That was a record. With the upcoming architecture week, it seems like fifth years won't be contributing much because of our schedules. Anyhow, we were fortunate to see Ms. Shamcey Supsup in our college library a while ago. She's stunning and really work-driven. It's quite humbling to see someone who's supposed to be enjoying her international fame still striving to pursue her chosen career- which is to be an architect. Having the same alma matter, it was nice of her to accommodate us with our little fan-girl moments. Here's what she looks like (sorry for the low-quality picture...am trying to be a silent paparazzi with my cellphone)
After all that, Hazel and I went to CHED for a thesis-related information hunting. The design of the building is very reserved and utilitarian. We were about to ride an elevator (after bragging that my phobia lessened) when I saw it doesn't have any handle bars. Those are where my courage suppose to come from and they're missing?!
When we decided to take a break, a chance encounter with orgmates led us to enjoy a classic-movie viewing in their "thesis house". So, Barbra Streisand was actually a good and convincing actress and she somewhat looks like the clean version of Lady Gaga and Ashley Tisdale. During the film's intermission, Klervin showed us a powerful performance for his Arki's Got Talent production. It was more than appealing!
Oh and today's my beloved father's birthday! We had a simple dinner because they had to prioritize some church-related events. Still, I'm glad to have my papa by my side!
