My Cuddly Bestfriend

My attempt in painting other things beside portraitures.
How cute can you still be?
My fascination with puppies started when I was young. I love their cuddly appearance despite the fact that sometimes, they can be annoying. My dog Loony (where I got my user name loonatic) looks like a two-month old regular poodle (she is actually a toy breed). When she was given to us, I didn't have the slightest inclination to be its "master".Yes, she is adorable- in every sense of the word- but it wasn't in my nature to raise and pet one. Then after a few months, I got sick while my parents had to go run some errands for work. That left our then household help and Loony to be by my side. I'm not sure if all dogs are like her but she jumped into my bed as if she would protect me and act as my guard (while I'm convulsing with colds). After that, she would start to follow me everywhere and because she is again, very adorable, I've been totally smitten.  When she was diagnosed with amoebiasis a few weeks ago, it was my first time to be so depressed that I couldn't sleep a wink. Thank God my sister immediately accompanied me to have Loony checked-up or I would totally crumble and slumped beyond repair if she would succumb to her disease. Now, I'm exerting much effort in taking care of her because I've momentarily felt how my life is without her. It could've been so hard.

Some facts about Loony:
-One of her front leg is permanently broken but she can still walk and run.
-She's afraid of long narrow spaces (e.g. space between the wall and bed) because she once fell trapped in it and thank God I jolted out of sleep so I was able to take her out.
-She hates those blue water containers. She would bark at them whenever someone delivers them to our house.
-Whenever she hears someone opening the refrigerator, she would ask me (yes, she does that by repeatedly barking on me) to open my door so she could receive food from the fridge.
-She hates socks so I use them to urge her to eat. I would mimic a monster using the socks and pretend to eat her food.
-She doesn't like it when another takes her bed (may it be a dog, or a doll).
-I have to feed her dog pellets or she won't eat them.
-She's afraid of opened umbrella.
-Whenever someone calls my name, she'll bark at me.
-She loves to sleep/laze around in front of the electric fan.
-Whenever she hears my dad's keys, she would jump up and down so that she could accompany us in the car.
-She hates cats. And dogs. And strangers. She's very snobbish and sometimes even to me.
-She loves me. Need I say more? C:
